Anti-Spam Policy

The Relay Labs is a business automation consultancy based in Montreal, Canada. This policy governs every message sent by us, by anyone acting on our behalf, and by any party promoting our services or any domain we own. It is binding, and it is published so that recipients, mailbox providers and reputation services can hold us to it.

1. No Unsolicited Messaging

We prohibit the advertising of this website, of The Relay Labs, and of any domain we own, through unsolicited bulk email, unsolicited bulk SMS, or any other form of unsolicited bulk messaging. This prohibition applies to us, to our employees and contractors, to any affiliate or partner, and to any third party acting on our behalf. We do not purchase, rent, or trade bulk mailing lists, and we do not use lists compiled by others for bulk distribution.

2. Business Correspondence

We do send individual business correspondence to publicly listed business contact addresses, in the course of offering professional services to businesses. Each such message is addressed to an identified organization, is sent from a clearly identified sender, states our identity and location, is relevant to that organization's stated line of business, and contains a working means of declining further contact. We consider this correspondence, not bulk advertising, and we hold it to the standards below regardless of how it is classified in any given jurisdiction.

3. Our Standards

• Every message identifies The Relay Labs and a real person as the sender, with a reachable reply address that is monitored by a human.
• Every message provides a clear way to opt out, and any request to stop, however it is phrased, is honoured immediately and permanently.
• We never use false or misleading headers, forged sender addresses, deceptive subject lines, or disguised sending identities.
• We never use open relays, compromised systems, botnets, or any infrastructure obtained without authorization.
• We never send to addresses that have been harvested from websites, scraped without regard for relevance, or obtained from a list vendor.
• We maintain and honour a permanent suppression list. Once an address is suppressed, it is excluded from all present and future sending, across every domain and every campaign we operate.
• We authenticate all of our sending domains with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and we monitor delivery and complaint signals continuously.

4. Affiliates and Third Parties

We do not operate an affiliate program, and we do not authorize any third party to promote The Relay Labs or any domain we own through unsolicited messaging. Any party doing so acts without our consent and in violation of this policy. If you receive a message promoting us that you believe breaches this policy, report it to us using the contact address below and we will investigate it, terminate any relationship involved, and take corrective action.

5. Enforcement

Violation of this policy by any employee, contractor or partner results in immediate termination of the engagement. We cooperate fully with mailbox providers, blocklist operators, and reputation services investigating any complaint related to our domains.

6. Complaints and Opt-Out

To opt out of all contact from The Relay Labs, or to report a message you believe violates this policy, write to hello@therelaylabs.com. Opt-out requests are processed on receipt and applied permanently across all of our sending domains. Complaints receive a response within one business day.

7. Domains Covered

This policy applies to therelaylabs.com and to every domain operated by The Relay Labs for business correspondence, including therelaylabsonline.com, gorelaylabs.com, therelaylabsbox.com, therelaylabsgo.com, relaylabsteam.com, therelaylabs.co, therelaylabsgroup.com and therelaylabshq.com.
